How they found out

Overall, 51% of registrants found out about the event by word of mouth, 40% through e-mail and web, 9% through radio and television. Among members who identified themselves as aboriginals, 12% found out through radio and television compared to only 4% for non-aboriginals.

The Audience is growing

Since 2006, the number of members has increased an amazing 279%. This increase was almost completely due to registrants who identified themselves as of aboriginal descent. Since the APCMA's inception in 2006, the website has received over 21 thousand registrations. In 2006, 23% of registrants were of non-aboriginal descent, 33% were of non-aboriginal descent in 2007 and 34% of registrants are of non-aboriginal descent in 2008.
